Weekly Planning

Last updated:

Planning your week is the core of OCR Trips training. Here's how to make the most of the weekly calendar view.

The Weekly View

The calendar displays one week at a time (Monday to Sunday). Each day shows your planned activities as cards with the activity type, duration, and time.

Planning Strategies

Manual Planning

Click on any day to add activities one by one. Good for when you know exactly what you want to do.

AI-Assisted Planning

Open the AI sidebar and ask it to plan your week:

"Plan my next week: 3 runs, 2 strength sessions, 1 boulder, 1 rest day. Longest run on Saturday."

The AI will distribute activities across the week and create them on your calendar.

Week-Over-Week

Look at your previous week's stats to guide the next week. The weekly summary at the top shows total hours and activity count, helping you gradually increase training volume.

Weekly Stats

At the top of the calendar, you'll see:

  • Total activities: How many sessions are planned
  • Total time: Combined duration of all activities
  • Completion rate: For past weeks, what percentage you actually completed

Tips

  • Don't schedule more than you can realistically do — consistency beats intensity
  • Place your hardest sessions early in the week when energy is highest
  • Always include at least one rest day
  • Use the AI assistant to adjust mid-week if plans change
