Gladiator Race Pevnost Terezín is staged inside the 18th-century fortress town in north-west Bohemia, and the fortress does most of the work: the course drops into the hidden ditches, runs through the underground tunnels and uses the fortress water system as an obstacle rather than a backdrop. It is the seventh stop of the Czech series and one of the two most atmospheric venues on the calendar.
All three adult courses run on Saturday — ORIGINAL (6+ km, 30+ obstacles), the head-torch NIGHT race (3+ km, 15+ obstacles) after dark, and the KIDS races in the morning. Each is offered in RACE, OPEN and FUN categories, with MIX pairs and four-person teams in RACE and OPEN. Sunday is the canicross programme. Capacity is 2,500 across all categories, so entries close well before race week.
