Nuclear Fallout is the winter race, on 7 November 2026. The same 6 km lap as Rush, run once (6K, 40+ obstacles), twice (12K, 70+ obstacles) or three times for the Oblivion Maxx endurance wave (24 km+, 200+ obstacles, 9am start). Late-season mud and cold make it a harder day than the spring race.
All Nuclear Races run on one permanent course at the Secret Nuclear Bunker estate in Kelvedon Hatch, near Brentwood in Essex: farmland, woods, rivers and lakes, with signature obstacles like the 20-foot Deathslide, the Travelator and a 15-lane zip wire into water. Races are chip-timed, there is no penalty for skipping an obstacle, and every finisher gets a medal and a free photo.
The venue is 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11, or 15 minutes by taxi from Brentwood station (Liverpool Street line) or Epping tube.
