Gladiator Race Praha is on the city's eastern edge in the Čihadla nature park, but do not expect an urban run. The terrain is flatter and more runnable than the fortress venues, and the organisers make up for it with water, mud and heavier obstacles — including a net crossing over a sluice gate. Now in its ninth edition, it is the most popular date on the Czech calendar for both racers and organisers.
Saturday carries the full adult programme: ORIGINAL (6+ km, 30+ obstacles), NIGHT under head torches (3+ km, 15+ obstacles) and the KIDS races. Capacity is 2,000 places. It is the easiest race in the series to reach on a city break — the park is inside Prague and served by public transport.
