XLETIX Challenge Tirol Innsbruck is the highest obstacle race in Europe, staged at the Weltcupsport arena in Kühtai in the Austrian Tyrol. The course tops out at 2,020 m and packs in around 1,300 m of vertical gain, so the climbs matter as much as the obstacles. Wonder Wall 3.0, the 4.5 m Power Pipe and the 4.5 m Slippery Slope are all on the route, set against untouched alpine scenery.
FUN covers 6 km with 15 obstacles, ADVENTURE 12 km with 25, and X-TREME 18 km with 35 — but at this altitude and gradient, every distance runs harder than its number suggests. Innsbruck is about 45 minutes away and is the natural base for the weekend.
