The Spartan World Championship weekend takes place at Al Wathba in the Abu Dhabi desert, United Arab Emirates. Racers cross sandy desert terrain in events ranging from night Sprints to Elite and Age Group Beast races. The weekend also includes kids races and an elite Teams event.
