Nuclear Races in Brentwood, United Kingdom. 11 events over 2 days, May 8–9, 2027.
Nuclear Rush is the spring race, on 8 and 9 May 2027. Adults pick the 6 km course (40+ obstacles) or the 12 km course (70+ obstacles), both days. Kids race Rush Rookies over 1.5 km or 3 km (ages 4 to 14, both days) and the mandatory-obstacle Rookies Pro on the Saturday. Sunday adds the Rush Family waves over 1.5 km and 4 km for parents and children together.
All Nuclear Races run on one permanent course at the Secret Nuclear Bunker estate in Kelvedon Hatch, near Brentwood in Essex: farmland, woods, rivers and lakes, with signature obstacles like the 20-foot Deathslide, the Travelator and a 15-lane zip wire into water. Races are chip-timed, there is no penalty for skipping an obstacle, and every finisher gets a medal and a free photo.
The venue is 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11, or 15 minutes by taxi from Brentwood station (Liverpool Street line) or Epping tube.
The organizer has not published start times yet. Waves fill up.
